Foundation for Southwest Orthopedic Research

Located within the Texas Medical Center, the Foundation for Southwest Orthopedic Research was founded in October 2005 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. We continuously conduct commercially sponsored and internally initiated trials on innovative pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and novel approaches for the treatment of orthopedic diseases. The goal of our research is to improve the quality of care for orthopedic patients based on the knowledge gained from our studies.

Our Mission Statement

Through clinical and basic science research, the Foundation for Southwest Orthopedic Research strives to discover the most advanced and effective methods for the treatment of orthopedic diseases and related medical maladies.
